Job Title
Energy and Green Project Manager
TexEnergy Solutions is seeking a hard working professional who is seeking a long term career in the building profession
to provide energy efficiency and green rating solutions for the owners of new and existing buildings.
Job Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate will need to be comfortable in our office, a client location and
on the job site.
- The candidate to currently have or will acquire certifications as an Energy Rater, Green Rater, LEED AP, Energy Code
Inspector (residential and commercial), CEM or Building Commissioning Professional Designation. There is no direct time line for accomplishment
and no minimum requirement for employment.
- Preference to candidates who have worked in the Architecture, Engineering or HVAC profession
for 1 to 4 years.
- Degrees in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science or the Liberal Arts are also a plus. Any existing designations
as described above are also useful.
- Provide inspection and testing services in field as well as support and serve client needs. Project
management experience and client acquisition skills are also desirable.
- Possibility of out of town travel up to 6 nights per month for
the first couple of years.
Our company focus is primarily with DFW area clients in Single Family, Multifamily and small commercial buildings; however, we are equally interested
in existing as well as buildings under construction.

a participant in the EPA's Energy Star for High Rise Pilot.

Job Title
Tempo Mechanical/TexEnergy Internship
Tempo Mechanical Services and TexEnergy Solutions have a skills development opportunity for a recent graduate
or person with 1 to 3 years experience. There are a wide ranging set of tasks that require support.
The tasks may include- Research on changing codes,
rules and standards;
- Updating marketing efforts and rewriting web sites
- Tracking legislative changes
- Building case studies on previously completed
work
- Initial planning on the 2011 Texas Green Home Summit
- Building data bases communication to new and existing clients
- Other projects as needed
and ability dictate
Requirements- A successful candidate will be bright, energetic and flexible.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are a
must.
- The ability to capture and absorb and utilize large amounts of diverse information in a short time is an absolute requirement.
- Bachelors or
Masters Degree are a significant plus. Equal preference will be shown to all degrees.
This position would have access to all divisions of the company and would
include opportunities to be exposed to a number of business opportunities.
Compensation
Salary would be mutually negotiated based on the individual characteristics and potential for success. This is not a
permanent job offer. This position is expected to last from two to twelve weeks. It is hoped that at completion of a 12 week internship, the candidate and
our company would find a way to make a permanent hiring decision.
